For full details visit: http://gapmarks.com/r/640467  Porter Corp., a leading manufacturer of “ Open Air Steel Structures”, is looking for a dynamic leader to fully develop and manage an inside sales team.  The successful candidate will be asked to build on the past successes of Porter Corp. product brands by creating a world class customer experience, delivering company sales objectives, while creating roadmaps for future growth objectives.  This role requires a proven history of leading an inside sales team, strong project management skills, delivering exceptional customer service and sales results.  A strong working knowledge of the Architectural and Construction markets is highly preferred.  Daily activities will consist of: monitoring and managing the sales pipeline, communicating with internal and external customers, conflict resolution and the execution of sales orders. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a team of Inside Sales Representatives that communicate with customers, field sales and dealer partners.Conduct selling efforts as needed (direct business or house account activity) and assisting field teams in closing sales.Develop and implement new processes, improve current processes, and verify current level of training tools, communications best practices, training and methodologies to improve the overall effectiveness of the team.Perform pre-sales project management activities to ensure customer’s expectations are being met.Work closely and coordinate with other departmental managers to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives.Oversee resource planning, reporting, territories and communications for the assigned team members.Drive inside sales team to use the CRM system/Sales portal to capture and manage all sales activities and manage sales pipeline opportunities.Develop and manage project quoting and proposal process.Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and improve the inside sales function.Mentoring team members to improve their skills and knowledge through day-to-day coaching.  Represent Porter Corp. in a positive and professional manner at all times. PERFORMANCE METRICS: Meet and or exceed financial performance goals as provided by the VP of Sales & Mkt.Improve overall customer satisfaction indexes as measured by annual survey.REQUIRED BEHAVIORAL CHARACTERISTICS: Focused on salesA positive attitude and optimistic outlook Detail oriented personalityCourteous, considerate and patient with othersFlexible and adaptableOrientation toward “delighting the customer”.Ability to work in a Team environment.PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years’ working experience in Inside Sales5+ years’ working experience in the Architectural & Construction industry2+ years’ project management experience on construction job site.  2+ years’ experience managing people (teams)2+ years’ in managing custom product solutionsWorking Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel requiredWorking knowledge of Order Entry software & CRM tools preferred  For full details visit: http://gapmarks.com/r/640467
